When we travel, we let ourselves laugh, imagine, and dream. We allow our new surroundings and experiences to change us and our view of the world and those living in it. When we travel, we make memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. And that is the best souvenir.
My love of travel began as a young child when my family would take our annual trip to Walt Disney World. I remember riding the monorail with my nose pressed against the window, looking out at Magic Kingdom, and thinking that it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.
Fast-forward 30 years, and not much has changed. I can still be seen with my nose pressed up against the window of any plane, train, or automobile, looking out over the next location and knowing that it has a special story.
